Setting Up Facebook Pay On Facebook Messenger
Update the Messenger app on your device, open it and follow the steps below to set it up;
- Tap on the profile icon at the top left corner of your screen. For IOS devices, just tap on the settings icon.
- Select “Payments” on the next screen.
- Choose “Add New Debit Cards” or “Add Paypal”.
- Then fill in the required details for any of the payment means you chose.
Sending Money on Facebook Pay through Messenger
- Start a conversation with whom you want to send money.
- Tap on the “More” icon (three-dotted icons).
- Select “Payments” > “Next”
- Enter an amount you wish to send and specify a reason.
- Then tap on “Pay”.
Once the money is sent, the receiver would be given the option to decline or accept the payment.
Requesting Money On Facebook Pay through Messenger
- Start a conversation with the contact you are requesting money from on Messenger.
- Tap on the “More” icon (three-dotted icons).
- Select “Payments” > “Next”.
- Enter an amount you wish to request and specify a reason.
- Hit the “Request” button at the top of your screen.
